Les Paul Custom, Nickel Hardware

This Gibson Custom Select Les Paul™ Custom with nickel hardware is an understated adaptation of a classic. Made by the skilled craftspeople at the Custom Shop, Gibson Custom Select Collection guitars are made in small batches with hand-selected features. Exciting finishes and unique hardware are featured on modern and classic models, which makes each of these guitars special. Finished in a gloss Alpine White nitrocellulose lacquer, this Les Paul Customs features nickel hardware instead of the usual gold hardware. Powering this Les Paul Custom is a set of 490R and 498T humbuckers, which offer versatility with modern tones on tap. The 490R neck pickup provides rhythm tones and utilizes an Alnico 2 magnet with a DC resistance of 8k. The 498T bridge pickup, which features an Alnico 5 magnet and clocks in with a DC resistance of 14.2k, is well-suited for high-gain tones. Between these two pickups, a wide variety of tones are available, from subtle clean tones from the neck pickup to all-out aggressive, distorted sounds courtesy of the bridge humbucker™. Adjust the CTS® audio taper potentiometers in the slightest amount, and the tones will gradually change, anywhere between zero and ten on the dial.
